Defy Apathy! is a vessel for creative expression; it has taken the form of ‘zines, stickers, prints, photographs and events. It is a cooking ‘zine with recipes and stories from Costa Rica, supporting local NGO’s. It is a series of ‘zines curating a unique network of collaborators’ artistic expressions. It is a set of pinhole photographs presented as a postcard set. It has been the banner underwhich a workshop using art explored ways in which to improve public interaction with journalism.

The collaborators.
A connective network of friends, many of whom have personal methods of expression that differ wildly from their ‘day jobs’, even if that’s as an artist. Defy Apathy! provides a showcase of those expressions, bringing together the works of this diverse and disconnected group. The creativity they bring to the world is valuable and deserves to be shared.
